Listed

No major authority in our data endorses this listing — only rely on it if an authority you follow does, and check with your rav.

Local kashrut infrastructure: kosher soup/communal kitchen (opened 1995, Chabad House), kosher meal provision, supply of kosher products, and community kashrut services in post-Soviet Lithuania. Functions as the active Chabad-aligned kashrut presence under Rabbi Krinsky. No published online certified-products list; not a formal export-style certification agency.

Led by Rabbi Sholom Ber Krinsky (Chabad emissary/shliach in Vilnius since 1994), with Rabbi Aharon Shlomo Ofen as additional shliach. Address: Sv. Kazimiero g. 12, Vilnius 01126; phone +370-615-83814; email Jewishlita@gmail.com. Krinsky has been referred to in some sources as 'Chief Rabbi of Lithuania,' but this title is disputed by the Lithuanian Jewish Community (see Choral Synagogue / LJC entry). A long-running institutional dispute exists between Chabad and the Lithuanian Jewish Community, including the Chabad rabbi being barred from the main (Choral) synagogue in 2016. These are two separate, competing local kashrut/communal authorities.

How to use this safely: a listing here is not an endorsement. Only trust an authority if one you (or your community) already follow recognizes it — see the “endorsed by” tags above. Standards vary by community and by individual ruling, so always confirm with your rav.
